The safety of our workforce and jobsites are a #1 priority to BAM. BAM has established a rigorous Safety Program that is set in motion on every project, regardless of size. Highlights of BAM’s Safety Program include:
- Create a Safe Work Environment.
- A 100% Drug-Free Work Environment. Every employee is drug tested upon employment and the firm conducts random drug testing periodically.
- On-site job inspections to determine conformance with established policies and OSHA standards.
- Train the Workforce.
- Completion of OSHA 10-Hour Training by all personnel.
- Conduct periodic in-house training programs to communicate updates in the corporate Safety Program and to assess overall safety performance.
- Empower Workforce to be Their Own Personal Safety Director.
- Conduct employee perception survey to assess workers’ attitude regarding the safety program, providing the ability to express their safety desires and expectations in an anonymous manner.
- Tie incentives to jobsite safety performance for all supervisory personnel.
- Set annual safety goals and assess supervisory performance against it.
